2012 New York Yankees Tickets – Here We Go

by eric on January 18, 2012 updated January 18, 2012

It’s that time again. Time to start lining up your Yankees tickets for the 2012 season. The New York Yankees are coming off of a great season and by now the news is starting to roll in about why the Yankees can be expected to make big waves within the division once again. If there’s anybody out there that doesn’t expect New York to be on top again, they’re laying pretty low. As usual the Yankees are the team in the MLB making the big splash and this season it centers around the pitching staff.

New York reached out and tapped the Seattle Mariners in a deal that brought in Michael Pineda, a right hander who could quite possibly become a star in the Yankees rotation. If you remember last season, New York struggled at times. Pineda is young at only 23 but he’s already notched a spot in the MLB All Star Game and his 173 strikeouts led all rookies last season.

Yankees tickets will also give you a chance to see the older guy brought in by management, 36 year-old Hiroki Kuroda. Kuroda has been playing for the Dodgers after a long and successful career in Japan.

Along with Pineda the Yankees tabbed another youngster, Jose Campos, who will have to work his way out of AAA before he lands a spot on the Yankees roster.
